This website is the official online store of company PETRO S.A. via the Internet (hereinafter referred to as “the Store”) with Greek VAT (AFM) EL094187369 of the TAX OFFICE OF ATTICA and with Greek GEMI Number 393201000, which is based in Greece, in Peristeri, Attica, at 34 Kifissou Avenue and 2 Papakyriazi (hereinafter referred to as “Company” or “PETRO S.A.”), PETRO S.A. is active in the trade of travel goods, leather goods, backpacks, tourism goods, accessories and related items with the brands DIPLOMAT, STELXIS, VERAGE, SEAGULL.

PETRO S.A. operates and manages the physical store with its products at 34 Kifissou Avenue and 2 Papakyriazi in Peristeri, Attica, Greece as well as the online store www.diplomat.gr. These Terms of Use are intended to formulate in a clear and understandable manner the terms that govern and regulate the relations of the Company with each visitor and/or customer of the Store, in accordance with the relevant legislation on Consumer Protection (Directive 2011/83/EU, Presidential Decree 5338/2018, codified Law 2251/1994), Electronic Commerce (P.D. 131/2003) and the Protection of Natural Persons from the Processing of Personal Data (EU Regulation 2016/679, Laws 2472/1997 and 3471/2006), as currently in force.

Each entry, browsing and transaction with the Store makes you a visitor and/or customer of the Store, provided that you make a transaction. Before proceeding with your browsing within the Store, please confirm that you have read and fully understood these Terms of Use and that you accept them, as any use and/or transaction you make with the Company through the Store from now on implies your full and unreserved acceptance of them.

The display, presentation, sale, transport-storage, delivery and any return of our products displayed on this website as well as the protection of your personal data and the security of your transactions are governed by these terms of use, which we invite you to read before browsing the E-shop and making your purchases. Your navigation on www.diplomat.gr as well as the carrying out of any transaction or communication with our company means the unconditional acceptance of these terms of use by you. In case of your disagreement or reservation regarding part or all of these terms, you can send your relevant e-mail to the e-mail address shop@diplomat.gr before your navigation or the carrying out of the transaction, otherwise your acceptance of all terms is unconditional.

  1. Sale – Ordering products

To place an online order, you will be asked to follow the purchase process and press the “SEND ORDER” button. You will then receive an e-mail from us confirming the receipt of your order (“Order Confirmation”). Receiving the email confirms the receipt of the order and not its availability. Once your order is confirmed in stock and our sales department has started processing it, you will receive a new email informing you that it is being processed, or a cancellation email in case the product you ordered is not found. Finally, you will receive an order execution email and its shipping details in case you wish to track it through the carrier.

No contract will be considered to have been concluded between us and you regarding any products, unless your order is expressly accepted by us. If we do not accept your order and the money has already been deducted from your account, then it will be refunded in full without interest in accordance with the refund terms as described below in term 8.

PETRO S.A. offers three (3) secure payment methods for you to choose the one you wish:

  1. Product availability

The products on the website are available for purchase, but we reserve the right to inform you within two (2) business days either by phone at the number you have gave, or by email, about similar products of equal or higher quality and value, which you can order.

If you do not wish to order similar products, you can cancel the order at any time and your money will be refunded, interest-free in full, in accordance with the refund terms as described below in Term 8.

  1. Order Cancellation

We reserve the right to withdraw any product from the website at any time and/or to remove or edit any material or content on this website. Although we make every effort to fulfill all orders submitted to us, circumstances may arise in which we may need to refuse to process an order after we have already sent you the Order Confirmation, which we reserve the right to do at any time in our absolute discretion. We shall have no liability to you or to any third party for the withdrawal of any products from this website, as well as for the removal or editing of any products or content on the website or for the refusal to process or accept an order after we have sent you the order confirmation email.

  1. Delivery of Products – IMMEDIATE EXECUTION OF ORDERS

Subject to the provisions of term 3 above regarding the availability of products and subject to exceptional circumstances in this case, PETRO S.A. makes every effort to deliver the products to the carrier within one or two (1 or 2) business days.

All orders are delivered to the address you stated, through the cooperating courier company which is the company “SPEEDEX” or collection from a BOX NOW locker of your choice.

Only products with a maximum weight of 20 kg and maximum external dimensions of 62 x 45 x 36 cm (including packaging) are shipped through BOX NOW. For example, certain cabin suitcases, handbags, backpacks, leather goods, specifically duffel bags, accessories, etc. can be shipped through BOX NOW. Products such as Medium and Large Suitcases, Wheeled or Large Duffel Bags, etc. cannot be shipped through BOX NOW, exceptions always apply depending on the dimensions of each product.

In inaccessible places and places where the above companies are unable to deliver, PETRO SA will make every effort to deliver with alternative shipping companies, otherwise it reserves the right to reject the order and refund the money, if paid.

Currently we ship our products ONLY in Greek territory. We do not ship to other countries. In certain countries outside of Greece there are local distributors and local stores where you can purchase our products.

Shipping costs are FREE for Greece for purchases with a total value over €60.00.

For purchases with a total value less than €60.00, shipping costs are for Greece:

  1. A) via BOX NOW: Flat rate of €2.00 for all products that can be shipped to lockers.
  2. B) via SPEEDEX:

– €2.50 for all products except suitcases and trolleys.

– €7.00 for cabin-sized suitcases (Small) and products with wheels such as Sack Voyage with wheels, backpacks, professional trolleys.

– €10.00 for medium-sized suitcases (Medium)

– €15.00 for large-sized suitcases (Large)

– €20.00 for oversized suitcases (XL)

We do not deliver orders to courier companies on Saturdays, Sundays, Greek public holidays, or for reasons of force majeure (e.g. extreme weather or natural phenomena, disasters, stoppages, general strikes, wars, earthquakes, etc.). Orders placed in the system by 11.00 am will be delivered to the carrier on the same day, otherwise they will be delivered the next business day. Orders placed in the system on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, etc. will be processed the next business day (e.g. Monday).

  1. Delivery Times to the final destination

The products are delivered by the carrier:

The times are estimated and may be modified by the cooperating carrier without prior notice. The hours and days of delivery are determined by the carrier, unless you contact the carrier directly and confirm a specific day and time of delivery.

It is necessary to register the contact Greek telephone number (preferably Greek mobile) in order for the carrier to be able to contact you (sometimes through SMS).

For the purposes of these Terms, “delivery” will be considered to have taken place or the order will be considered to have been delivered when you or a third party at your command, other than the carrier, has acquired physical possession or control of the products, which will be proven by the carrier’s signature on the receipt or receipt from the counter.

  1. Collection from the physical store.

You can collect your order from the physical store. Collection takes place Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. except holidays.

The store is located at 34 Kifissou Ave. and 2 Papakyriazi, Peristeri Attica, Greece PC 12133 (map) The building has free parking for customers and easy access from Kifissou Avenue. Payment at the store can be made by cash or debit/credit card or IRIS.

We make every effort to ensure immediate collection from the physical store. Between the confirmation of the order in the system and the collection from the physical store, a reasonable period of at least one (1) hour has elapsed and has been preceded by telephone contact with the store at tel. 2105780102.

  1. Refund

If, for the reasons described in the Terms of Use, a refund is required and the money has already been deducted from your account, then it will be refunded in full, interest-free, no later than four (4) business days from the day it was received in the bank account of the company PETRO S.A. All refunds are made to bank accounts held in officially licensed Greek banking institutions. To refund the money, you must send us by email the IBAN number of your bank account, the banking institution held and the beneficiary details. Refunds to financial institutions outside Greece, either have bank costs charged to the customer or cannot be executed from PETRO SA.

  1. Return of products due to inability to deliver / receive.

In case of inability to deliver / receive your order either 1) due to your absence from the place you declared despite the carrier’s repeated attempts to deliver or 2) because there are substantial errors in the recipient’s information such as Name, Address, Postal Code, Contact Phone, etc. or 3) due to non-timely receipt from the box, then your order will be returned to the company and will not be sent again. In this case, as it is considered your fault, you will be charged with the Return costs and the costs of the original Transport which will be deducted from the total value of the products when the money is returned to you.

Be very careful when choosing to collect from a BOX NOW locker. You must collect your package on time, within approximately 24 hours (or as specified by BOX NOW) from the delivery of the message that BOX NOW will send you. Otherwise, you must contact BOX NOW directly to request additional time, if they can give you. PETRO S.A. is not responsible if the package is not delivered from the BOX NOW mailbox on time and returns to our warehouse.

  1. Returns and product exchanges.

Returns Policy:

You can return the product within 14 days from the date of receipt, and replace it with the same model in a different color or any other product of your choice.

Replacement:

You can request that we send you the same item in a different color or replace it with any other item from the website at your own expense for return and shipping costs of the new item.

In case you received a defective or incorrect code, we can replace it with the correct one at no charge to you.

A necessary condition is that the items have not been used and are in their original excellent condition and packaging and without the tags, markings, stickers, labels, etc. having been removed. And it must be evident that e.g. wheels, mechanisms, zippers, locks, etc. have not been used. It must also be accompanied by all sales documents.

PETRO S.A. does not cover transportation costs of returning the items. The only exception is the case where you received an incorrect or defective product. All products that are sent have already been thoroughly checked by the company for possible defects or deficiencies to avoid unnecessary returns. The company maintains video footage of each product that is sent. In case of returning a defective or incorrect product, you must contact the company either by tel. 2105780102 or by email at shop@diplomat.gr in order to initiate the replacement process.

  1. Photographic material product display

We make every effort to ensure that the color deviations in the photographic material are minimal to zero, so that you know what color you will receive, provided that the standard settings have not been changed on your screen. There is a possibility of a small color deviation between the photos and the final product you purchase. The small color deviation does not constitute a reason for free replacement / return of the product.

  1. Product Prices

The products sold by the Store are genuine products of the Company. The prices listed on each product include Greek VAT (24%). These prices refer to the Products and quantities available in the Company’s warehouse, while the Store reserves the right to adjust prices without notice.

In the event of a product change during a discount period or a product purchased with offer/discount, the current price of the product we receive and the price of the product we will ship back to you will apply, on the day we receive at the company.
